Kilcock GAA Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) 🌟

We invite all members to the Kilcock GAA Club AGM, taking place on Sunday, 30th November at 7:30pm in the clubhouse. This is your opportunity to get involved, have your say, and help shape the future of our club!

Motion 1: 

That the following amendments (as highlighted in red in the draft) be adopted into the Kilcock GAA Club Constitution:

All proposed amendments and additions as marked in red in the draft, including but not limited to:

·         Addition of Handball as an offering Kilcock GAA

·         Operation as a “One Club” in accordance with the GAA One Club Framework

·         Clarifications on Youth and Child Membership

·         Social media and disciplinary procedures

·         Display and approval process for new members

·         Centralized management of finances and governance under the Executive

·         Officer for Irish Language and Culture as a mandatory role

·         Auditing and financial reporting requirements

·         Life and Flexi Membership clarifications

·         Other governance and compliance updates as per the red text in the draft

Motion 2: 

That the cost of family membership packages will be increased by €10 per package, and nursery membership will also increase by €10. The revised costs will be as follows:

·         2 Adults + 1 Child: €210

·         2 Adults + 2 Children: €240

·         2 Adults + 3 Children: €270

·         2 Adults + 4 or more Children: €300

·         Nursery: €95

·         All starts Membership - €0

 

This motion is to support a change in the age at which individuals are eligible for inclusion under a family membership be extended from the year in which they turn 18 to the year in which they turn 21. This change reflects the current family structure, where many children remain in full-time education beyond age 18.
